Open from 7am until late Monday – Saturday and 7am until 4pm on Sundays. Take the family or meet up with your mates, pop in for a meal, or settle in for a drink. In 2005 Australian chef Grant Norman embarked on a journey to the other side of the world to experience the cuisines and culture that Europe had to offer. Whilst working as a head chef in London he first met Emma Robson, general manager of one of London’s leading event catering companies.
In the time that followed they realised they shared the same love and passion for the hospitality industry and in particular good food and wine! The following summer they took their very first holiday away together to Padstow, a pretty town and the foodie capital of Cornwall. It was here they vowed that one day they would open their very own restaurant together.
Having gained the experience of working in some of the very best restaurants in the northern hemisphere, the time came for Grant to take Emma back to his home country. With a detour via New Zealand, Grant had the fantastic opportunity to work at Logan Brown, New Zealand’s best restaurant, before they made it back to Australian soil in 2010.
Emma had spent part of her gap year travelling around Australia and like many others had fallen in love with Noosa. As the foodie capital of Queensland it seemed the perfect place for Grant and Emma to settle down and call home. Grant initially worked at Ricky’s before moving onto Bistro C, gaining further experience at two of Noosa’s iconic restaurants.
Grant and Emma still had the dream of opening a great restaurant. A place where they could share their passion for providing great service and beautifully cooked food using fresh, local produce in a relaxed and comfortable environment. And now they had found their perfect setting, Noosa.
After several years of planning, in November 2015, Grant and Emma finally achieved their dream and proudly opened their restaurant.
